The Challenge: Moving Past Cold Corporate Templates
When Transparency International Australia (TIA) reached out to me to bring their 2024–2028 strategic roadmap to life, I knew it was a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-impact brief. As part of a global coalition tackling corruption across more than 100 countries, their message is incredibly important—but their strategy documents are naturally packed with heavy, dense policy data.
Collaborating closely with TIA’s Advocacy and Communications Manager, Hansika Bhagani, our challenge was to steer completely clear of boring, sterile corporate templates. We needed to translate their research into an engaging, highly readable publication. The goal was to build a visual hierarchy that carried a professional, trustworthy weight for international stakeholders, while using an organic, human aesthetic to make the content feel approachable and urgent.
The Solution: A Complete, Production-Ready Visual System
As one of the trusted illustrators in Melbourne and operating as a dedicated, off-site art department, I took the project from loose initial sketches right through to final, print-ready layout files. We started with concept development, mapping out custom hero illustrations to represent the core pillars of their strategy, like Whistleblower Protection and Political Integrity.
Once the conceptual direction was locked in, I extended that visual language across the internal pages of the report. I transformed complex organisational frameworks into clean, technical infographics and wrapped everything together with a striking, full-bleed cover design. By bridging the gap between artisan illustration and precise vector information design, I delivered a robust, turnkey publication suite ready for global distribution.
