Poster and on-site signage for Space& Architecture and Interiors.

Design and illustration of on-site signage and logo for Space& - a Melbourne-based Architectural and design studio run by Elizabeth Giorgio. The initial brief was to illustrate an image of Elizabeth based on the Bally posters by the 20th century French Graphic Artist and Illustrator Bernard Villemot. Elizabeth wanted to create an image without too much facial detail, similar to the artwork on the Bally advertisements.

As we worked through the concepts and roughs, the design evolved to become more contemporary. The aim was to have a modernist aesthetic with lots of negative space and clean san-serif fonts, while still retaining a vintage style and colour scheme.
