Fashion Textile Design & Commercial Graphics — French Connection Australia (Summer Menswear)

The Challenge: Elevating Seasonal Essentials

Collaborating with the internal design team at French Connection Australia, the objective was to develop a series of custom illustrations and textile graphics for the Summer 2020 menswear range. The challenge was to move beyond standard "trackie dacks" and introduce a fresh, hand-illustrated aesthetic that felt premium yet accessible for a post-lockdown Australian market. The graphics needed to align with French Connection’s global brand standards while providing a local, handcrafted point of difference.

The Solution: Integrated Commercial Illustration

I delivered a suite of custom apparel graphics ranging from minimal chest hits to large-scale textile prints. By utilising a mix of digital and hand-drawn techniques, I provided French Connection with a versatile library of assets that scaled across multiple product categories, from essential tees to button-down shirts. My role as an off-site art department allowed for a rapid, collaborative iteration process, ensuring that every graphic was production-ready and optimised for high-volume commercial printing. This project demonstrates my ability to integrate seamlessly with global fashion brands to deliver market-leading commercial results.
